On 31 December, Andy Burns will be stepping down as CEO of east to west! Here is what Andy has to say about it:
“I believe the time has come for me to hand the baton on to someone who’ll advance the work. Where I’m heading next is a conversation for another day. It’s been an absolute joy and privilege to be able to serve God through east to west. I can honestly say that it has been the making of me as a leader. Where else would a lad like me be entrusted with so much; the learning curve has been steep, but so has the pleasure.
I leave east to west with a strong foundation, identity and missional purpose in the hands of an excellent team. The next CEO will be a blessed individual to be able to lead this charity and I look forward to hearing about it running harder and faster as the years go by.
I’ve invested myself and our marriage into the lives of young people in our community since 1997 and I want to thank you for your investment and journey with us in that adventure. I pray that you’ll remain a supporter and enjoy the next season just as much as I will. Please do pray for the board as they go through the process of appointing a new CEO.” -- Andy Burns
