“There was great joy and excitement at All Saints New Haw on 20 May for the Institution, Induction and Installation of our new vicar, Revd Andy K Reid. It was a very joyous service. You will see from the picture below those conducting the service and our churchwardens (shown from left to right): Derek Malcolm (churchwarden), Bishop Jo Wells, Linda Salt (churchwarden), Revd Andy Reid, Archdeacon Ven Paul Bryer and Area Dean Revd Sandra Faccini.
There was a very full church which included people from St Paul's Church in Addlestone and Christ Church in Woking where Andy had served in ministry over the past few years. The service was also relayed into the church hall. Following the service a very enjoyable time of 'meet and greet' took place over wine and a finger buffet…it’s questionable whether Andy got much to eat or drink as he was busy meeting friends old and new!
The congregation of All Saints' Church feel very privileged to have Andy as their new vicar and we are all looking forward to working together with him to reflect God's likeness as we grow and develop as a community in New Haw.” (by Pam Sales)
