An Encouraging MessageSt Peter’s Church Chertsey found this message on their website: “For some years we have stayed at the same hotel in Menorca, the Valentin Star at Cala ‘n Bosch. Either last May or the May before I picked up a book which had been left there by a ‘Christian member of St. Peter’s Church, Chertsey, Surrey, England’ - What’s So Amazing About Grace? by Philip Yancey. It remained unread until March of this year. I am 76 and have been a Christian since my teens. However, of late I have been re-evaluating my Christianity and really beginning to realise how utterly amazing is this ‘Grace’ business. If you can identify the person who left the book please tell him/her how grateful I am to them for this further piece of the jigsaw.
